The invite reads: "Miami has been chosen as the inaugural city for the U.S. launch of the much talked about luxury energy drink ..." As if there were a long line of other cities that would fall for something labeled a "luxury energy drink." That this one has the word Lamborghini on the label cinches it. Put us down for a case, right?
The launch party for Tonino Lamborghini Energy Drink (yes, Tonino Lamborghini is the son of that Lamborghini) is Thursday, Feb. 11, at Club 50, the rooftop lounge at the Viceroy hotel (485 Brickell Ave., Miami). The event gets going at 9 p.m. and is free, with an open bar until midnight.
Expect to soon find the drink, a familiar mix including caffeine, taurine and B vitamins, retailing at $2.29, and as a booster in your favorite club or bar.
